During my recent stay at Highland Manor Inn, I was pleasantly surprised by the great value it offered. The location is truly a gem, perched on a shaded hill overlooking the picturesque Smokies. As a nature enthusiast, this setting was ideal for exploring nearby attractions like Cades Cove while being away from the hustle and bustle of Pigeon Forge.The cozy rooms had a quaint charm, reminiscent of a scene from a Hallmark movie, with ample space and comfortable amenities. The free Wi-Fi was a definite plus, allowing me to stay connected during my stay. The outdoor swimming pool and picnic area added a nice touch for unwinding after a day of hiking.While the lack of a business center and VIP check-in was noticeable, the warm hospitality of the staff more than made up for it. The subtle Christian ambiance and old folk music in the lobby added a unique touch to the experience.Highland Manor Inn strikes a balance between affordability and comfort, making it a wise choice for budget-conscious travelers seeking a peaceful retreat in the heart of the Smokies.
